Charlie is a beautiful brown tabby boy who came to me from my good friend Jackie Huddleston.

I had arranged to import a boy from Germany but it fell through and I needed a stud boy. Charlie had been sold as a pet but Jackie had unexpectedly had him returned. I asked her if he would make a suitable stud and she said ‘he will do until something better comes along’!
We had great trouble sorting his registration out as his mother was from imported cats and he wasn’t shown until he was 8 months old. I was concerned that he wouldn’t like it. I needn’t have worried, at his first show he was Best in Show and went on to have a wonderful show career.

He now has 10 CCs, 3 Res Grd CCs, 5 Grd CCs and 2 UKGrd CCs!

He has now retired from showing although I may take him out occasionally in future!

Charlie’s pedigree is an unusual mixture of Coonyham, Coonmora, Nascats and Stormwatch and is probably unique in the UK. He has sired some lovely kittens who inherit his lovely type and wonderful temperament.
